Mike "Mish" Shedlock
Mike "Mish" Shedlock currently works for SitkaPacific Capital Management as a registered investment advisor representative. As an asset management firm, Sitka Pacific strives for high levels of performance and at the same time low volatility, no matter what the state of the market may be.
In addition to SitkaPacific Capital Management, Mike also does a lot of work on the side. He serves as a "professor" on the website Minyanville, a site anyone can join to be educated in economics and finances. He can be heard every Wednesday on the Charles Goyette show on KFNX. Mike also releases podcasts every week on Market Matters Radio, the number-one economic radio program in Canada, and on HoweStreet. He is the editor of the newsletter The Survival Report along with business partner Brian McAulery; and he often posts advice on his own blog Mish's Global Economic Trend Analysis, which rates number four on the highest rated blogs in the country.
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Joanne during his time off from writing about stocks and the economy.
