Deanna Lorsen

Deanna Lorson is Development Director for the City of Riverside, which encompasses Redevelopment; Economic Development & Marketing; Housing & Neighborhoods; Arts & Culture; Real Property Services; and Capital Projects.  Prior to joining the City in April, 2009, Deanna worked for the Riverside County Economic Development Agency (EDA) for fifteen years.  Deanna held a variety of positions at EDA, including serving as Managing Director from 2007 to 2009.  As Managing Director, Deanna was responsible for daily operation of all of EDA’s programs including economic development & marketing, redevelopment, community services, workforce development, aviation, housing, fair, museum, finance and administration. 

Prior to joining Riverside County, Deanna worked as a private Housing Consultant and as a Planner for the City of Corona.  Deanna has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Redlands and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University, San Bernardino.
