David Kittle

David began his mortgage banking career in 1978 with American Fletcher Mortgage Company. As a top producing loan officer, he moved to the management side in 1986.

He opened his own company, Associates Mortgage Group, in 1994 and sold it in 2006. Kittle is the senior director of industry relations for IMARC, a fraud investigation company located in Santa Ana, CA. He manages IMARC's Washington, DC office.

David is Past President of both the Louisville and Kentucky Mortgage Banker Associations. He is Past Chairman of MBA’s Political Action Committee, MORPAC; former Vice Chairman of MBA’s Residential Board of Governors and has served on MBA’s Board of Directors 2004 through 2010.

Kittle is past chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association in Washington, DC, completing his term in October of 2009. Kittle's principled, straightforward approach served him and the industry well. He testified fourteen times before Congress and led the industry during its most tumultuous period.

David was a Finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award / Kentucky in 1998, received his CMB (Certified Mortgage Banker) designation in 2004 and was honored with the Champion of Homeownership Award in 2005 from the City of Louisville. He and his wife Ellen have been married for 16yrs and have four children.
