Foreclosure bootcamps are back! The rules have changed in the current market. Strategies used to find leads two years ago aren't the ones you'll use today. In this relationship driven market, you must know what it takes to get leads coming to you instead of tirelessly pursuing people facing foreclosure.
Our bootcamp will be for those that want real, hands-on experience. Bruce Norris takes his 27 years of experience and California market timing expertise and personally teaches you what we do every day in pursuit of wholesale deals.
At this three-day intensive, you'll learn how to:

The Norris Group’s Foreclosure Bootcamp is a must for anyone looking for hands-on experience that you don’t get from attending large seminars. Bruce takes his expertise in California market timing and walks you through what The Norris Group does on a daily basis to find wholesale deals.
Day 1: In the Vault
- Review current market trends, where we stand and what to expect in the coming months.
- Making deals that make sense. Marginal deals can really hurt in this market.
- How to track down and spot good deals.
- Structuring offers.
- Overview of buying systems that work in a declining market. What worked last year isn’t going to work anymore!
- Working with and building relationships with brokers that control inventory.
- Understand what REO brokers and asset managers are currently facing. It’s not an easy job.
- Cold calling REO brokers, auctions companies, and investor ads. We’ll help!
- Learn how to work with an agent and the MLS.
- Negotiating to win.
- Little tools that make your life much easier!
Day 2: Field Day
- Review inventory for the day
- Go to see lender-owned properties (4-6)
- Repairs estimates and computing costs
- Appraising properties in a downturn
- Make offers
- Sequence of work
- Drive by vacant and call owners or track down when possible
Day 3: Trustee Sale Day
- Review daily listings
- Title work
- Prepare to bid at trustee sale
- Determine max bid at sale
- Attend trustee sale live
- Bid at auction
- Attend trustee sale live
- Absentee owners
- Other sources for leads

I was very surprised at the idea of repairing properties for "best value" as opposed to "sparkle and shine." Considering the plethora of properties on the market, I was somewhat confounded to learn that less is more. I think it will help me be more successful in having offers accepted. I liked the video Bruce made on buying at auction, preparing for it, etc. I liked being put on the telephones because that's the hardest part for me and it forced me to do that; now I think it will be easier! I also liked going to the houses and seeing how to price the offers on them and estimating the repairs. I loved Bruce's staff and how great they are with us, and Bruce is great ! It was nice to have such an easy and comfortable atmosphere there.
