Aaron Norris of The Norris Group gives this week’s Norris Group real estate headline roundup.  ATTOM Data Solutions released their latest housing index map, which rates neighborhoods based on several factors including home prices and the environment itself.  Looks like Amazon is about to dip its toes into real estate.  With the increase in demand for rental homes, Roofstock is trying to come up with a new index that will gauge risk to the most precise level.

Looking Back:

The latest Builder Applications Survey from the Mortgage Bankers Association reported a 0.2% decrease in new home purchase applications in June.  CoreLogic just released a list of the top states with the most foreclosures filed, New Jersey being#1 on the list.  Construction starts on nonresidential properties increased 4.2% month-over-month in June.
